The artist of this circle is called Mikage Uchida. I've admired her art for quite a while in Trigun doujinshi, however, I'd never brought myself to actually buying one despite being in love with quite a few Trigun books. Since she started making LotR, I've found her style extra appealing, as it's gritty, messy look is perfect for LotR. She's done at least two other LotR books, so perhaps I'll get those in the future as well.

Title : Jolly Little Nothing Published : 2002 Size : B5 Comments : The story in this doujin takes place in Moria, which I like. Even in the books, Moria was one of my favourite parts. This has just one story in it. The group is travelling in Moria and come to a forked road. While they're deciding which way to go Pippin finds a mine shaft and accidentally falls in. The group trys to decide what they should do and Legolas attempts to comfort Merry, who seems to want to jump down after Pippin. Suddenly Pippin appears at the top of the hole. It seems it wasn't a long drop, and he was able to climb back up, but Merry is both annoyed and overjoyed and it takes him a moment of anger before he's willing to laugh with Pippin about what happened. ^_^ A little PipiMeri, and quite cute.
