Earth Project & Orange House

Earth Project and Orange House often work together, to the point where it wouldn't be surprising that some people consider them one circle. They are, in fact, two seperate groups, and books do appear that are only by one or the other. The difference between the two artists is easy to discern. Earth Project (Moe-san) has stylish, wavy art that is very different from Toriyama's style. Orange House's (Daruma-san) chara designs is similar to the original art, but are cuter and softer. Most GxCC stories are very heartwarming and genki in a very sincere way (other characters can be put in sugary circumstances and come off as OOC, but Gokou and Chichi are sweet naturally), and these circle's offerings are no exception. They make you into a GxCC fan.

Comments : This is a thick, gorgeous book full of yummy stories by Damura and Moe. All are really cute and loveable GoChi, with their usual antics and other characters appearing only every here and there. This has great artwork, and I seriously think it's one of the best GxCC books around. In the back is a section of mild H art by the main artists and four guests, namely: Waya (yay!), Kuri (yay!yay!), Senko from Asia'n Mama (eh...), and Sakami, who I don't recognize but who has good art. Watch out, as this section was originally sealed and some copies have badly cut pages (like mine...) Still, the art is worth it, especially if you snag it for a good price. ^_~ [72 pgs]
