Both of these circles have done Darkstalkers doujinshi on their own. Neko Arima, the artist of Nekoya, has a mature, wonderful artstyle, and Datohryubi, whose artist is Lea Sakura, has a crisp but not quite as interesting art style as her co-writer in this project. I'm really interested in pursuing any other doujinshi Nekoya has produced, and I know she's done a few. Title : Level 4 Published : 15/Aug/1997 Size : B5 Comments : For a refreshing change, the artist that did the cover is actually the least talented of the two contributing to this doujinshi. Nekoya has an absolutley beautiful, smooth style, and she's drawn one really sweet and touching story about Felicia as a little girl (kitten?) being taken in by a sympathetic nun. Nearly every character appears in the other stories and art, which are by Lea and two guest artists. There's a short between Demitri and Morrigan, a Lord RaptorxLei-Lei story, and some gags that seem to revolve around Jon, Bulleta, and Bullet's grandmother being the characters in the 'Little Red Riding Hood' story. Except that this grandma and Little Red are prepared... with rocket launchers... [74 pgs]
