While I've seen a little bit of other TF stuff around, most notably an issue of the controversial Dojinshi series, and a couple of H dj... (I don't know and I don't want to know), this is the best TF art I've seen, almost full stop! I recognize characters... but I still can't tell if it's the western cartoon series, and which season of that (definetely not pre-movie, more's the pity, it's my favourite era. I would die for a good Soundwave dj. =_=), or the Japanese version. They had different autobot and decepticon logos, didn't they? Well, this has the western ones.

I've seen the first book up for auction, it had the same cover, but in colour. *_* If I hadn't been totally broke at the time, I would have so had it. The artwork in this is great. Far better, IMO, than the original comics. Not only is their techincal skill shocking (although the pages are crammed full of busy scenes), but they actually draw mid-transformation sequences. :9 Something interesting about this dj is that it reads left to right, like a Western book!
